The family map is the heart of AI Family Locator. Open the app and you see everyone you love at a glance — not just a dot, but the name of the place they’re at, how long ago it updated and how much battery is left.

## What you see

-   **Each person’s current place** — “At School”, “Home”, “Driving”.
-   **Last update time**, so you always know how fresh the location is.
-   **Battery level**, so a quiet phone doesn’t cause panic.
-   **A family list** below the map for a quick status check.

## Private by design

Your circle is private. Only people you invite — and who accept — can see each other. Nobody can be added without agreeing, and everyone can pause sharing.

### How often does the map update?

The app updates more often while someone is moving and less often when they’re still, which keeps the map fresh and saves battery.

### Can someone pause sharing?

Yes. Every member controls their own sharing and can pause it at any time.

### How many people can be in a circle?

You can invite your whole family. Every plan covers the whole circle.
