About us

# We build tools that help families worry a little less.

AI Family Locator started with a simple wish: to know the people we love got where they were going — without endless “are you there yet?” texts, and without anyone feeling watched.

## What we believe

-   **Consent comes first.** Everyone in a family circle chooses to join and can pause sharing at any time. We don’t build hidden tracking, and we never will.
-   **Privacy is not a feature, it’s the foundation.** We don’t sell personal data or use location for advertising.
-   **Calm beats noise.** A good family app tells you what matters — an arrival, a low battery, an SOS — and stays quiet otherwise.
-   **Clear billing terms.** Web family map passes are one-time payments with no renewal. Web and App Store purchases are separate; see the [cancellation instructions](https://ailocator.app/legal/billing).

## Who we are

AI Family Locator is developed and published by Yury Mekhau, individual entrepreneur, the publisher listed on the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6816534113). It’s an independent product, built and supported directly by the people who make it.

## What is AI Family Locator?

AI Family Locator is an iPhone app for families who choose to share their location. Members install the app and accept an invitation before sharing. The app combines a family map with location history, place alerts and an in-app Family AI chat. A phone number alone cannot reveal a phone’s live position. Permissions, connectivity and device settings affect location updates; check the timestamp before relying on a map pin.
